I grew up in Brooklyn. I built Trinity Boxing Club in Lower Manhattan. For twenty years, New York City has been our home, our foundation, our identity. And it always will be.
But the American Dream is about expansion. It's about taking what you've built and carrying it somewhere new. It's about believing that what you have to offer is worth sharing with the world.
Los Angeles is the other great American city. It is a city of dreamers, of strivers, of people who came from somewhere else and made something of themselves. It is, in many ways, the spiritual cousin of New York.
And Los Angeles needs what Trinity has to offer.
The boxing culture in Los Angeles is rich and deep. The city has produced champions. It has produced legends. It has gyms with history and tradition. We are not coming to Los Angeles to replace any of that. We are coming to add to it.
What Trinity brings to Los Angeles is the same thing we have always brought to New York: the old way. The honest way. The way that respects the craft, demands discipline, and builds real human beings.
